ILISAP PR Launch Event Residential Retreat
The Puerto Rico Public Health Leadership Institute Launch Event was celebrated in Hotel Copamarina, Guánica, during October 22 - 25, 2003. The goal of this activity was to enhance greater individual and organizational effectiveness in achieving optimal public health outcomes within the eleven essential public health services.

National Public Health Leadership Institute Residential Retreat University Of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
During May 12 - 17, 2003, the ILISAP PR Team, composed of the doctors José Capriles, Elena Batista, Ruth Ríos, Jesús Irizarry, María Castro and Francisco Alvarado Ramy, participated in the NPHLI Residential Retreat Week.

ILISAP Inauguration Event April 11, 2003
On April 11, 2003 the Puerto Rico Secretary of Health, Dr. Johnny Rullán, and the Dean of the University of Puerto Rico Graduate School of Public Health, Dr. Rosa Pérez, announced the establishment of the Puerto Rico Public Health Leadership Institute (ILISAP PR).
